Is there a fee to
join MOMS Club?

Annual dues for the
Eagan--West, MN chapter are currently $25 per year. Dues
cover administrative costs of running the chapter (such as
photocopying, postage, etc.), a donation for our meeting
space, and other chapter expenses.

Can I
bring my kids to MOMS Club activities and functions?
-
Children are welcome at all MOMS Club events. Although kids
rarely accompany moms on MOMS Night Out events, it is not
uncommon for a mom or two to have a nursing baby along. We
do have a separate children's room available during our
monthly member social, but children are not required to go
to the children's room, and many (especially younger ones)
stay in the meeting room with the moms.

My
child has a disability. Can we still participate in MOMS Club?

I
think MOMS Club might be for me, but I want to be sure. Is there
a way for me to check out your group before I actually decide to
join and pay my dues?

Absolutely! Prospective members may attend two member
socials or one member social and one park day. A park day is
defined as any outing where the entire membership is
generally together in the same place. Field trips do NOT
count as park days. To
attend any further activities, you must join and complete a
liability form (of course, you may join at anytime; you are
not required to attend two events first).

Is
MOMS Club a religious or political organization?

No.
MOMS Club welcomes moms of all religious, ethnic, and
political backgrounds and views. We are not affiliated with
any religious sect or denomination. Our member social is
conducted at a local church in Eagan in exchange for an
annual donation; however, neither the Eagan--West chapter
nor
International MOMS Club endorses or is affiliated with
any particular religion.

think MOMS Club sounds great, but I don't live in the community
your chapter serves. What should I do?

If
you are not within the geographic boundaries of the
MOMS Club of Eagan--West, you can check for a MOMS Club chapter
in your area from the
International
MOMS Club website, or send them an
email. If no chapter exists in your area, you can start
one!
